Ever thought about having your own flower cutting garden but didn’t know where to start? I’ve got you covered with a collection of specialty cut flower seedlings in a curated color palette and mix of flowers to grow balanced, beautiful, and fragrant bouquets. I personally grow these coveted colors and varieties for my customers and floral designers. It's unlikely that you'll find these cutting varieties at most garden centers or at Trader Joe's as they are specialty varieties best grown locally.
All flowers are relatively easy to grow and are cut-and-come again varieties meaning that they WANT to be cut, and the more you cut, the more they reward you with blooms. With a little care, they’ll pump out blooms all summer for you to cut and enjoy in the garden. And at the end of the season, you can even save seed for future plants.
With proper care, these plants will produce enough flowers to keep your home filled with bouquets all summer (and enough to share!) I've estimated you can expect approximately 250-350 stems throughout the growing season which would allow you to create dozens of medium sized bouquets throughout the summer... all from your own garden!
What you receive:
- Mixed selection tray of 30 cut-and-come again flower cut flower plant starts/seedlings (aka, baby plants) that have been hardened off and are ready to be planted immediately in your garden. Includes 5-6 varieties of cut flower plants to make a balanced bouquet. Typically consists of mostly annual plants but may include a couple perennials depending on availability. Keep in mind, cut flower varieties are usually tall! Some varieties can be 5Ft. tall but most will be 24-48 in.
- Plant collection is grower choice and subject to availability but possible plants could include: Zinnias, Lisianthus, Cosmos, Strawflower, Gomphrena, Celosia, Panicum Frosted Explosion Grass, Lemon Basil, Yarrow, Foxglove
- Simple growing guide with tips to get the most out of your growing space based on my experience growing cut flowers professionally
What you need:
- A sunny place in your garden or raised bed(s) (6+ hours of direct sunlight). Ideal space is between 20-36 square feet. Plants can go all in one area or spread out throughout the garden. Pots are ok for some of the plants, but not ideal as they dry out quickly and can be challenging when growing tall cut flowers.
- A desire to put in a little bit of effort for a huge beautiful reward! Mostly planting, watering, cutting and enjoying the blooms!
Order by March 6th, 2026. Limited Quantities available!
Pickup Timing:
